Have you ever wondered why flamingos stand on one leg? Because it takes less energy to keep one leg warm in cold water than two. The best bit, though, is that this position requires no muscle strength from flamingos and their legs hardly get tired at all. Legs that don’t get tired – every cyclist’s dream. Flamingos can even sleep in this position, just like the one on our blue socks. Could this be why flamingos are the favourite birds of Till, co-founder of DirtySox?
It all began in 2011 with our Allround Elite model. Back then, we wanted to develop a true all-rounder suitable for any purpose.
