Have you ever wondered why flamingos stand on one leg? Because it takes less energy to keep one leg warm in cold water than two. But the best thing is that this position requires no muscle power for flamingos and the legs hardly tire. Legs that don't tire - the wish of all cyclists. Flamingos can even sleep in this position, just like the one on our blue socks. I wonder if that's why flamingos are DirtySox co-founder Till's favourite birds.
It all started with our Allround Elite model in 2011. At that time we wanted to develop a real all-rounder, which is suitable for every purpose. Thanks to a perfectly matched functional yarn blend of nylon microlon, polypropylene and elastane, our socks promise optimal wearing comfort and retain their original fit even after repeated washing. The functional yarns used ensure optimized sweat transport and always guarantee dry feet, which further increases comfort.
